Kidney Transplant Xplained is a mobile app we designed specifically for kidney transplant recipients and their care-givers, both for use prior and after their operations. Features include: an interactive and informative story based on real patients they can relate to, a gamified medicine tracker, an appointment calendar, tips and advice, patient notes and a simple social system with their supporters. We devel-oped this for Medicine X, with the support of doctors, healthcare experts and patient organizations.

I was fortunate to work on this important and helpful app as its UX designer. I took Medicine X’s core objectives to gain an understanding of the transplant patients process and experience, and then trans-lating those insights into wireframes and user-flows for the development team to realize.
