This is one of the most unique projects I have been fortunate to work on. The Incredible Tales of Weirdwood Manor Vol. 1 is an original tablet & mobile game by Wasabi, with Vol. 2 soon on its way. Weirdwood is not just a game, but what we call a “Living Story”. It's an interactive storybook, filled to the brim with 3D animation, puzzles, mini-games and tons of secrets.

I worked closely with the creative director, developers, illustrators, writers and animators at Wasabi on the original app, but also on the follow up, Volume 2. Much like the final experience, the elements I had the pleasure to work on were original and diverse and included: UX of game features, iterations based on feedback and focus groups and mini-game and overall UI design. Furthermore, the Weirdwood franchise has spread far beyond the initial app experience which I have also touched —evolving into print novels, educational guides, and soon, TV shows, a feature film and a board game!
